The Reference Architecture Blueprint
We build the structural framework of your web application using a highly polished reference framework. The package includes:
- State Management & Caching: Complete asynchronous data-fetching infrastructure configured with robust query caching, loading status workflows, and error boundary handling.
- Decoupled API Layer: Full service worker mocking to simulate backend network requests, enabling the frontend to run autonomously without live API dependencies.
- Advanced Data Layouts: Complex data tables featuring operational client-side sorting, column filtering, and pagination controls.
- Data Visualization UI: Responsive layout charts mapped to the underlying reference dataset for analytics reporting.
- Type-Safe Architecture: Strict schema validation and typed API client interfaces mapped to your layout requirements.
- Two Example Feature Modules: Two complete, functional data management features demonstrating list/detail views, create/edit forms, and data flow patterns. If you provide an OpenAPI specification, we build features matching your actual API contract. Without a spec, we assume a reasonable API shape - but retrofitting with your real API later will require an additional sprint to reconcile differences.
- App Guardrails: UI routing for protected user authentication states, global layout templates, and responsive dashboard sidebar/navigation configurations.
Fixed Scope Boundaries
To maintain a strict 3-week velocity, the application is built against a decoupled reference data layer. Additional features beyond the two included examples can be added via Feature Add-On Sprints.
- No Live API or Database Plumbing: The application is delivered connected to the decoupled reference data layer. No live production endpoints or server configurations are wired up.
- No Copywriting or Custom Content: All secondary text blocks, empty states, and descriptive copy utilize standardized high-fidelity placeholder text (Lorem Ipsum).
- No Bespoke Third-Party Providers: No direct wiring of live payment gateways, third-party authentication vendors, or analytics tracking scripts.
What We Need Before Day One
The 3-week sprint clock only begins ticking once the following criteria are met:
- Component Kit Handover: A completed, approved Rivetous Component Kit.
- Schema Alignment: Documented data models or an example schema showing how your backend intends to structure the primary resources.
- UI Layout Mapping: Approval of the target application layout structure and core dashboard user journeys.
