The Foundation is not a template. It is a purpose-built component library, engineered entirely around your brand, with every decision documented so your engineers can build on it with confidence from day one.
- Your brand, locked in as code. Typography scales, colour palettes, spacing systems, and dark/light mode tokens are translated from your brand guidelines into a design token architecture your entire codebase references. One change propagates everywhere.
- Up to 12 production-ready components. You select from our catalog. Each component is fully themed to your brand, accessible by default, and documented with usage examples your team can refer to without asking you.
- A living Storybook reference. Every component is documented and demoed. New engineers can get up to speed without a handholding session. Designers can verify implementation without digging through source code.
- Strict TypeScript throughout. Prop types, variant constraints, and token contracts are enforced at compile time. The codebase catches misuse before it reaches a browser.

Why the Foundation comes first
By separating the UI foundation from application logic before any product work begins, your website and your SaaS dashboard both draw from the same source. New engineers inherit a reference, not a mystery. New features start from a component that already exists, not a blank file.
Scope boundaries
To guarantee delivery within the 1-week sprint, scope is fixed at kickoff:
- Included: Design tokens, layout primitives, standard interactive components, form controls, overlays, and typography elements.
- Excluded: Multi-step wizard patterns, complex data charts, and bespoke third-party widget integrations. All available via Add-On Sprints.
- Required from you: Finalised brand guidelines, colour palettes, asset logs, and font files before the sprint clock starts.
